Management of Prairie Hills to Change Soon with New Commitment to Customers
Mission, SD, January 16, 2019–The Rosebud Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) will soon take over management responsibilities of Prairie Hills with a focus on creating a family friendly, farm to table restaurant, improving the space for the largest dart league in the State, and returning the golf course to being the best 9-hole course in the region. The bar side will remain open 3 nights per week for dart league and off-sale will remain open every day. The restaurant will be closed for renovations and will reopen at a later date.
Renovations on the restaurant side will begin soon, and a Grand Reopening is scheduled for later this year. While renovations will provide immediate improvement to the building, the dart hall will remain open until the end of the season. Later this year and after suggestions from the dart league, the dart hall will be improved. The golf course will be opened for play in the Spring with input from club members.
REDCO’s long-term strategy is to redefine the space and property to better meet the needs of the community and provide continued opportunities for the youth. “Prairie Hills is an incredible asset for our community, and we intend to make it something our people can be proud of,” said Wizipan Little Elk, REDCO CEO.
