As an entity of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, REDCO must follow RST Procurement rules. As such, Indian preference may apply and Tribal Employment Contracting Rights Office (TECRO) compliance is mandatory. TECRO compliance requires that the contractor hold or obtain a Tribal Business License from the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Department of Revenue. Additionally, depending on the scope of work and contract value, the selected contractor may also be required to submit a compliance plan with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe TECRO office, which may require contracting TECRO workers. A 4.5% TECRO fee will also apply and may be included in the bid. It is the responsibility of the bidder to understand TECRO rules, regulations, and compliance and questions should be directed to the TECRO office (605) 747-2322.
