REDCO ANNOUNCES NEW VENTURE AND JOB OPENINGS

New 22 Seat Call Center To Open In the Fall Seeking Applicants For 12 Customer Service Reps and Managerial Positions

Mission, SD, August 18, 2017 – The Rosebud Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) and Rosebud Lending are proud to announce the opening of Antelope Lake Communications (ALC), a call center specializing in handling customer service calls in the financial service industry. REDCO is now seeking qualified applicants to fill 12 customer service agent positions, manager, and supervisor.

The new call center will open with 12 seats and expand as volume increases. Councilman Wayne Frederick, REDCO Board member, and Chair of the Economic Development Committee said, “Our plan for increasing profits and creating jobs is working. While we are starting with 12 seats, we hope to expand the call center to over 100 seats within three years.” The new call center will be the second business started by REDCO this year, along with Rosebud Construction, Inc., which is now operational with several projects underway. “This year marks REDCO’s strongest growth period in its 17 year history,” said Rodney Bordeaux, Vice Chairman of the REDCO Board of Directors. He went on to say, “We are seeing record success and laying the foundation for a strong future. The potential for future growth is out there, and we need the continued support and input for our tribal members and others impacted by REDCO. We serve you.”

The call center will be located in the REDCO building and service Rosebud Lending customers. Rosebud Lending currently provides financial services in 39 states. Call center agents will handle incoming customer service calls, processing requests, payments and other call center duties. The call center’s capabilities will expand over the next several years along with new clients.

Applicants should possess wide-ranging computer knowledge, strong communication skills, and be dependable. Potential employees will be required to pass a background check and must have a minimum of a G.E.D. Wayne Boyd, REDCO Board Chairman and Rosebud Sioux Tribe Treasurer, said “these are going be very good jobs, with a full benefits package including health insurance and retirement. We’ll start the customer service reps at $12.00 an hour and increase the pay to $15.00 an hour after a 60 day probationary period.”
