Community Empowerment Coordinator
(Sicangu CDC)

Scope of Responsibility:

The Community Empowerment Coordinator is responsible for supporting Sicangu Food Sovereignty Initiative objectives by coordinating community engagement and outreach, as well as service-learning events and projects. They will also develop and strengthen relationships with local schools and other youth-based organizations.

About Sicangu Food Sovereignty Initiative:

​

The goal of the Sicangu FSI is to spark a prairie fire movement food movement to Indigenize our food system. They do this by increasing local production, improving food access, and sharing knowledge. Learn more at www.sicangucdc.org/food-sovereignty.
